HAQ-DI improvements associated with patient ratings of importance. Linearly predicted HAQ-DI improvement was calculated using a mixed model that accounts for within-patient variation over time by patient response as to level of importance of changes; post-baseline patient responses were collected at 4, 12, and 24 weeks. In the patient rating scale for importance of change in function, 1 = not at all important and 7 = extremely important.
