AB  - Crystalline arthropathies commonly involve peripheral joints; however, axial involvement has been described in both calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease (CPPD) and gout.1-5 We present a previously undescribed case of concurrent CPPD and gout affecting the cervical spine.
