AB Individuals with atopic dermatitis (AD) frequently have illnesses such as asthma and seasonal allergies. Recent studies have revealed associations between AD and rheumatoid arthritis (RA)1,2. For example, a study from Germany showed an increased risk of RA for those with AD (risk ratio 1.72, 95% CI 1.25–2.37).
