We read with great interest their report, which supports the usefulness of patient self-assessment by means of visual analog scale (VAS) in the evaluation of PsA nail disease.Assessment of PsA is challenging because of its varied clinical manifestations including skin, peripheral joints, axial disease, enthesitis, dactylitis, and last but not least, nail disease. Recently, GRAPPA and OMERACT have reached a consensus on a core set of domains to be evaluated in randomized controlled trials and longitudinal observational trials2, but which were recommended also for rheumatology clinics focusing on PsA.
