Abstract

Behçet disease (BD) is a chronic multisystem inflammatory condition affecting young to middle-aged adults, typically presenting with oral and genital ulcers, uveitis, and various systemic manifestations. The 1990 International Study Group criteria required recurrent oral ulcers for BD diagnosis, whereas the 2014 International Criteria for BD improved sensitivity through a point-based system.1
