Abstract

We read with great appreciation the letter by Østergaard et al1 in response to our recent article.2 We commend the authors for their thoughtful engagement with the topic and for expanding on several key points with relevant and up-to-date evidence, particularly regarding the role of conventional and synthetic computed tomography (CT) in assessing structural damage of the joints.
