Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)-associated lung disease (RA-LD) is a significant extraarticular manifestation of RA.1 For patients with progressive RA-LD despite immunomodulatory or antifibrotic therapies, lung transplantation (LTx) serves as a life-extending option; however, data in patients with RA-LD undergoing LTx are very limited, with little known regarding predictors of mortality.2
