We read with interest the recent publication by Kobayashi and colleagues on the seasonal effects on relapse of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody–associated vasculitis (AAV).1 The authors concluded that AAV relapse was influenced by seasonal variations and was frequently observed in the summer.1
