These women may have still had children. The striped bar represents those women who decided to forgo pregnancy altogether as a result of their disease diagnosis. SLE: systemic lupus erythematosus; RA: rheumatoid arthritis; JIA: juvenile idiopathic arthritis; AS: ankylosing spondylitis.
