Demographic data for patient population. Eighty of the 81 patients with renal disease had evidence of active renal disease during the study interval. P value was obtained from GEE model, adjusting for repeated measures (using autoregressive correlation structure) for multiple pregnancies in the same mother. Hypertension was defined as systolic > 140 mm Hg, diastolic > 90 mm Hg, or taking antihypertensive medications.
