The variables entered in the initial model were prednisone dose, other treatments used in combination with prednisone (methotrexate, leflunomide, etanercept, adalimumab), and genetic (HLA-DRB1 SE), immunologic (RF and anti-CCP antibodies), and demographic (sex and age) factors. The final model (accuracy of 77.3%) included prednisone dose, sex, and presence of anti-CCP antibodies.
