Karyl Barron and Carol Wallace. The goal of the workshop was to focus on the scientific rationale for stem cell transplantation therapy in the pediatric diseases, unique aspects of this therapy in the pediatric rheumatic diseases, transplantation issues and options, regulatory issues, and development of a DNA repository for these diseases.
