IMID-related fatigue is associated with disease activity and pain and has detrimental effects on patient quality of life and overall well-being. Thus, routine assessment and management of fatigue in clinical practice is important. This article provides an overview of the prevalence, correlates, and predictors of fatigue in IMID. There is also discussion of the effects of different treatments on fatigue outcomes, as well as management recommendations.
