From the literature it is clear that frequent monitoring of disease activity with adjusted treatment improves outcome2. However, there is also evidence that in daily practice, treatment steered according to disease activity scores is not yet routine3.To provide a tool to easily incorporate monitoring and registration of disease activity and functionality into daily routine, a group of international rheumatologists has developed the METEOR program.
