This study addresses a vexing issue in the management of juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM) by developing clinical treatment plans for JDM with persistent skin disease. The authors are to be commended for attempting to harmonize treatment approaches within the pediatric rheumatology community with the goal of providing data for evidenced-based recommendations in the future.
